ReplyDeleteI´ve found this post really enjoyable, but there are a couple of references to the gay world that I find quite difficult to understand in this context.
I mean it is an ad about stereotypes, isn´t it?
In most of the sentences, both parts of the phrases are real and idiosyncratic of English people.
But there are two of them where, in my opinion, the second part seems to be a pun more than anything else. Those are: "we also like to be dominated" and "we also love a well-tailored dress".
Please, tell me if there is something I´m missing!! Are sadomasochist practices or fag men typical of English identity? I don´t think so!!
I guess it´s only a joke, am I right?
